JALAN Drama Full Story Review

Overview

Jalan is a Pakistani drama that is based on the relationship that is present between brother in law and sister in law. It describes how a girl named Nisha spoiled her life and her sister's life. This drama basically describes how a girl jealous of her sister and doesn’t think that how her jealousy affects her sister and her family. The drama begins when Asfandyar sees Misha (nickname meeno) in a function. He falls in love with that girl. Then he asks her sister to take his proposal to Misha’s family. He liked Misha’s simplicity, humbleness, and beautiful personality. 

On the other hand, Nisha has a completely opposite personality. She has a very mean and jealous personality. She wants to snatch everything from her sister like her awards, her toys, and other things too. This snatching habit in Nisha is innate. When the proposal of Asfandyar comes to Misha’s family. They took time to decide. On the other hand, Nisha was extremely jealous of this proposal. 

As Asfandyar is very rich and he has his own family business. Nisha didn’t want Misha to marry Asfandyar. She tried to stop his parents from accepting this proposal. But his parents are satisfied so they accept that. The marriage functions started and Misha’s in-laws sent beautiful dresses. Nisha always tries the dresses before Misha and make her pictures and sent them to Asfandyar. Asfandyar doesn’t take it seriously. Then the wedding day comes and all dressed well. Nisha was also looking beautiful. Some traditions happen. Ahmer is the fiancé of Nisha and he is very concerned about her. His monthly income is 2 lac. 

In function, there is a tradition that sister in law holds the finger of his brother in law tightly. And then brother in law gives a gift to his sister in law. He gives ring to Nisha. Nisha asked him to put the ring on her finger. Ahmer didn’t like this. At that moment Nisha asked Ahmer why he didn’t wear a good dress and a watch. She then decided to left Ahmer and marry Asfandyar. Whereas Misha was living a happy life with Asfi (nickname of Asfandyar). As was also not interested in Nisha initially. But after some time their affair started. Misha didn’t know about that. Nisha blamed Ahmer that he was harassing her. So, Nisha’s father kicked out Ahmer of their home and broke the engagement. Ahmer understands all the situation and concerns of Nish. He then knew that Nisha was unfaithful to him. He was very upset when his sister set his marriage. 

Then Ahmer was married to Areej. He has no interest in Areej so he went abroad. Areej was also very upset that her husband takes no interest in her. Misha gets expectant. However, after some time Nisha's marriage was set to happen. Nisha left her home and went to Asfandyar's home. Their Affair was revealed. Asfandyar decided to left Misha and marry Nisha. Misha gives birth to a baby child. She was very depressed and attempted suicide. Nisha was enjoying her life when Asfi brought his baby boy to his home. Nisha didn’t want to share Asfi with anyone. 

So he asked him to send his baby boy to an Orphanage. He didn’t do that and bore his rude behavior. Ahmer became a rich businessman and came back to Pakistan. Then Nisha wanted to leave Asfi as his business was not working well and marry Ahmer. Ahmer's relation was gradually becoming good with Areej. Nisha’s father died as he didn’t forget Misha’s suicide. Nisha got expectant, so she got aborted her baby. Asfi gave divorced Nisha. He died of a heart attack.

 Ahmer and Areej started living a happy life. Nisha fought with Areej. Ahmer and Areej went back to their home. Nisha saw the reflections of Misha and did rash driving. Her face was extremely burnt in an accident.

Impact on public and Pamera Ban

Initially, Pakistani people didn’t like this drama because of an affair between Asfi and Nisha. So Pamera banned the drama on public request. But gradually they started accepting that as this happened in societies. So they unbanned the drama.

Jalan's drama was a good and moral drama as the end of the drama was good and it gives a moral lesson that greediness is not good at all. We should be humble and thankful to Allah for this precious life. He always gives us all the things at the right time. He listens to our feelings, our heart, and our prayers. No doubt his decisions are fair and based on justice.
