Endless Struggle of Ertugrul Ghazi

“Only those who can dream big can walk forward in the road of victory” 

Ertugrul Gazi was a man in Islamic history who conquered many battles on the behalf of Islam. He was the man who did struggles for providing his people justice. He set up the Ottoman Empire. He is the father of Osman who is the founder of the Ottoman Empire. He made history in turkey. He was the hope of all the people present in his tribe “KAYI”. He is very brave and kind. He never did injustice to his people. He follows the footsteps of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W). He did justice with his sword. His sword never succumbed before exploitation. He never obeys anyone except Allah.                                                                            “I have only one life and that belongs to ALLAH”                                                                               

He was the man who did not have any fear, fear of losing his dear ones, and fear of losing his life. If he had fear, it belonged to Allah only. He always did the right things at the right time. He follows the teachings of Hazrat Ali (R.A). He was greatly inspired by Hazrat Ali (R.A). He used to love Allah and His Prophet (SAW). He never gets despair in any situation even if death was standing before him. He never forgets Allah even he was in the worst conditions.  

Birth and family of Ertugrul Ghazi

Ertugrul Gazi was the son of Suleiman Shah who was the leader of the KAYI tribe. This tribe is related to the Oghuz Turks who were the ancestors of these tribes which are present in different regions of Turkey. His mother’s name was Hayma Ana who was a courageous woman. She has a strong character and she was not only a housewife but also an expert in swordsmanship and archery. She made Ertugrul a strong, pious Muslim and made him brave like a lion. Ertugrul respected women as it was the teachings of his mother. He had three brothers Sungurtkin, Gundogdo, and Dundar. His wife Halima was the princes of Seljuk Sultanate. She was very supportive and sincere to Ertugrul. She was a prince but spent her life simply and patiently in the Ertugrul tribe. He had three sons Gunduz, Savchi, and Osman.

Fights against Mongols and Saleebi

He did many battles against Mongols and Saleebi. They made the lives of Muslims difficult. They tortured them, did injustice to them, and receive extra tax from them. They want to eliminate Islam from this world. His sword was always against the exploit non-Muslims who wanted to snatch their homeland from them. He said:

“If you leave not your homeland in the possession of your enemy, but a piece of its stone, then misery is our destiny”

He always said:

“A homeland is a grace from Allah and saying thanks makes it last.”

The bravery of Ertugrul Ghazi

    “The strength of our enemy is our bravery”

Ertugrul was very brave and courageous. He never let anyone lead him. He was a great leader. He was a successful leader in Muslim history. He leads his tribe in all difficulties. He was the spirit of all the Muslims. He never bows down before wrong. He always supports the right people even he had to face the worst situations. He was a man who never did exploitation. He said:

 “I would rather be the lone soldier of justice than the sultan of the world”

Perfect Faith of Ertugrul Ghazi

If we fall, the whole Islamic world will fall. As long as we are strongly attached to our faith and traditions, our heads will not bow down and the Islamic flag will not fall.

He always believes in Allah Almighty who is one and only. He never follows any minister present in his state. He knew which things were right and which are wrong. He never compromised his faith. This thing always made him distinguish from the Muslim leader.

“As long as we follow Allah’s path, nobody can bring us to our knees”

He never left his people in ignorance, he showed them the light of justice and independence. He asked them not to afraid of the earthly god. He asked them to become brave and face every situation strongly. Don’t allow others to snatch your independence. Only it is the ALLAH who decides your future. He said:

“The real hero is the one who knows how to rise when he falls down”
